In Fox Class, the children complete the Lower Key Stage 2 curriculum. There are lots of new exciting challenges. For example, they begin Spanish lessons and also have the opportunity to improve their swimming ability through lessons at a local swimming pool. The children also take responsiblity for caring for the school garden and grow a variety of plants. The children are given wonderful learning opportunities, such as dress-up days for our topics, trips to local landmarks such as Nutley Windmill and The Science Centre at Herstmonceux, as well as frequent trips to the Ashdown Forest where the children can increase their confidence and self-esteem through exploration and problem solving.
